This project consisted of an investigation of the suitability of embankment material and construction inspection. CMT observed the excavation of test pits and obtained soil samples which were brought back to the laboratory for testing. These laboratory tests included USCS soil classification, proctor analysis and compaction tests. The results of the laboratory tests were utilized to aid the client in meeting PA DEP Document No. 5500-PM-OG0085 testing requirements.
